New students and families are welcome to begin with a free introductory consultation with Karina.
The consultation provides an opportunity to discuss the student's musical background, interests, goals, scheduling, lesson format, and any questions about studying at Concert Piano Studio.
Consultations can be arranged by telephone, in person at the studio, or by video conference through Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or FaceTime.
Students beginning around age 4 through adulthood and from beginner through advanced levels are welcome.

Karina accompanies student and adult musicians for competitions, Solo/Ensemble events, auditions, recitals, vocal and instrumental performances, choirs, productions, and other engagements.
For student competitions especially, contacting Karina early provides more time to prepare the music and rehearse together.

The Earlier You Contact Karina, the Better
When a student will need piano accompaniment for an upcoming competition, recital, or audition, preparation should ideally begin well before performance week.
Early contact gives Karina time to review and prepare the piano score and allows the student and accompanist more opportunity to develop tempo, entrances, phrasing, transitions, and confidence together.
When travel makes regular studio rehearsals difficult, preparation can begin remotely before meeting in person for rehearsal or the performance.
