Online preparation through Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or FaceTime gives students an opportunity to begin working with Karina before an in-person rehearsal or competition-day performance.
Karina can perform the piano accompaniment live during the online session while the student plays their part along with her from their own location. This gives the student experience hearing the complete accompaniment while practicing entrances, tempo, phrasing, transitions, and the overall flow of the performance.
Karina can also review the score, work through difficult sections, discuss interpretation, and provide accompaniment recordings the student can use for additional practice between sessions.

From Practice to Performance
Practice With Live Accompaniment Before Competition Day
When distance makes regular studio rehearsals difficult, students can still gain experience performing their music with Karina's piano accompaniment before the competition.
During an online session, Karina can play the accompaniment live while the student performs along from home. This gives the student an opportunity to become familiar with how the piano part sounds and how their own part fits into the complete performance.
When practical, an in-person rehearsal before the event remains valuable. Remote preparation means the first time the student hears and performs with Karina's accompaniment does not have to be at the competition.
